Juvaderm is recommended for this procedure as it is composed of natural hyaluronic acid that has been cross-linked to make it longer-lasting. Only a small amount (about 0.2 to 0.3ml) needs to be injected carefully into the existing earlobe to enlarge it to a reasonable size. This injectable filler tends to last longer in the earlobes (up to one year) than elsewhere on the face, presumably because of the fact that there is not much movement at the earlobe.
