Juvaderm Nasolabial Folds Injection Video
The following video shows a board certified surgeon injecting nasolabial folds in a model with Juvaderm. Juvaderm is a smooth-flowing hydrophilic cross-linked hyaluronic acid filler. Its major advantage is that it lasts longer (up to 1 year), and its physical properties allow it to be injected more easily and in a more shallow plane than other fillers. Its hydrophilic nature allows it to absorb water over time and smoothen out any minor defects in the injection technique.
This video also shows the placement of Juvaderm just below the corners of the mouth to correct the minor downward drift of the corners with age, so that a more youthful mouth is created.
